Hi there. I'm a relatively new snake owner, having gotten my first corn back in November. My roommate bought a hatchling at the same time and they're near the same age but from different clutches. Both are amel and one is shaping up to be awfully close to sunglow. The person we bought them from loved the snakes but didn't know a lot about morphs and genetics.

I'm a 30-something pseudo-geek that works as tech support for a large regional cell company. I used to be afraid of snakes, but got over it once I met people who were willing to talk to me, explain how to deal with ophidians, and that weren't using the snakes just to be different, spooky or cool.

I've been around the forum for a couple of months, reading things here and there and have really gotten some good information. So, maybe it's time to start opening my mouth as well as my ears.

Hey there and welcome to the site!! you should post some pics of your snake so we can see.. we love pics! :)

A warm welcome to you!

Congrats on your semi-new snake. The addiction is vastly sweeping across the nation! Maybe some day we will see commercials of people holding snakes instead of iPods. Or is that just my dream?

Anyhow, welcome!
