The most amazing thing has just happened! I was holding my snake motley corn snake (tango), and when I put her back in her viv she sort of slithered around a bit and then she started sheding! She looked like she was pulling a sock off or somrthing!
Has anyone else seen their snake shed? It's worth seeing!:D

Yah, I've seen Katie shed twice... actually... it was her past 2 sheds. It's super cool! I knew she was gonna shed soon because after I gave her a bath and in the bath, she was "yawning" and so I put her back and watched her go at it. It's very fun to watch. She's so pretty after she sheds, just like everyone else's does!

I was well p'd off with SUzy's last shed.

I knew it was due, put him in his viv after handling, and watched Scrubs. When I looke dback, he'd shed. Damn I missed it

On the +ve side - I saw one shed in the local pet shop - and I'm bound to see Suzy shed at some point in the next 15 years ....

I just saw Bonnie shed this morning. :) When I got up to go to work, I glanced in and noticed the head flap had just come off. I didn't get to watch the whole thing, since I had to get ready to go, but I came back in time to see her finish! It was a perfect shed. She's looking very beautiful now and had a lovely meal of a small fuzzy this evening.

annoyingly i missd it yesterday.... Kellogg, my yearling, was due to shed, but seemed to be taking her time.. add to that a lack of going to the loo... so a quick bath seemed in order... she did not like that one bit, as soon as she went in she flew out again.. so gave up... i put her back in her viv and wnt away... 20 minutes later i went past the viv and she'd shed.. i was gutted... 10 minutes after that crap too.. !! damn.. anyway.. even though her eyecaps came off she still seems to have something over her one eye.. so I'm off to the pet store for a quick check...

Happy Christmas people.. !

Shedding

My boyfriends pastel motley shed today....Sunday is feeding day and we knew she was getting ready, so when I took her out of her house (to put her in our snakes dining room) she looked krinkley is the best way to describe it, so I put her in a plastic tub with moist paper towels and ran the shower hot to steam up the room. After about 15 minutes in the steamy room we moved her and when I went to check on her about 10-15 minutes after that she was about 1/2 way done. We were so happy...this is her first "whole" shed that my boyfriend can actually show off...LOL She actually looks happy when she was done and promptly ate her dinner after (which she wanted no part of while krinkley). Sorry to ramble but I have to agree that it's just so awesome to watch!!
