Ok, so what in the world is up with Butterscotch pooping on me everytime I take her out? The girl that didn't take care of her very well told me she used to sleep with her everynight. Well I certainly wouldn't sleep with a snake that poops on me everytime I take her out? WHy is she doing this? I let her get used to her home for several days and then take her out everyday. She is a very nice girl, but all of a sudden she will stop, lift her tail and POO at me, on me or on the bed.

Today, we took her out and gave her a warm bath to soak in, cause she is about to shed and I am having some humidity issues with her tank. I thought a warm soak would be good for her. I know this makes them also poo, but man she just pooped on me the day before. Is she excited, mad, pooped off- or what? And she almost looks at me and says "Lady look out, here comes a good one." Normal or not?

Hello , we have had that problem before. The first was with a charcoal corn and now with a Kingsnake. They seem to outgrow it after alot of handling. I wish you luck. :crazy02:

I just got introduced to this problem. my first corn, Aurora never did that for the first 2 years of her life, but after I took her out of brumation this year she started doing that!! I have no idea why, because she has known me since she was a hatchling, so Id ont' know what's going on. I just make sure I have a tuperware top covered in paper towels handy at all times when I take her out, which is pretty much every avaliable day.

So far, my snake has successfully pooped on my mom and my dad. It was funny because right before he pooped on mom, she was holding him remarking about how large his cloaca was (although she didn't quite use the word cloaca  ). I told her he was probably going to poop, and that I'd take him back to his cage so he might do it there. Well, she was having too much fun with him and refused, and he pooped all over her!
