Hi guys,

For those that remember me I'm back, for those that dont, Hey! My snakes a ghost corn/ great plains ratsnake, although he mostly just looks like a great plains ratsnake, I still regard him as a corn snake. He is a great snake and has never bitten me to date.

Ive been off the forums a while as I kinda drifted away from this scene starting new hobbies etc. But, I only had to browse these forums once (yesterday) to realise how much I love it, and miss it. I still have my snake, couldnt live without him really...

Just took some pictures of him with my Phone, hence the crappy quality. I shall borrow a camera some time and take some decent ones. I started to handle him less and less when I drifted from the forums, so I need to build up his confidence in me again. He seemed to fear my phone when I was taking pictures, shaking his tail and all that so Ill leave it for a few weeks before taking more.

Just a quick question, Looking around the forums, peoples whos corns are younger than mine look a lot bigger... So Im starting to wonder if mine is smaller than he should be at his age... So I want you guys to Guess his age judging by his size, if its possible because the pics are a bit bad on quality... His actual age is on my site, which needs updating  .

P.S. Sorry for the long post, guess his age! :(

This pic is a bit older, but much better quality-wise:

yeh I tried all that before, last I remember he was about 3 1/2 foot long, but Ive seen some yearlings that look bigger than mine, and mines 3 years old now, and will be 4 years old in march. So Im worried hes smaller than he should be :shrugs:

Well, your snake is older than my guys but maybe that's all he is going to grow. As you probably know, it also has to do with what and how much your feeding him too. And let's not forget about the snakes genetics too. Do you know is weight?

I dont, but I can try and get it next time i handle him, tomorrow night or the night after maybe. Ill post up when I get it. Hes eating 2 mice per week and still looking for more, Next time I go to get food Im gonna check the sizes and see about the next size up. The shop that I get my mice from have really small mice... their large mouse is the same size as a small mouse from the place I used to get them, so might look at rat sizes.
