So, I woke up this morning (late-on my day off-thank god).
Go to see how lil miss Spike is doing, and she's GONE!
I took everything out, looked under the substrate. Gone.
So, I freaked out a little bit.
You know, called my bf screaming and crying as I'm frantically searching everywhere for her.
I FINALLY, after like 2 hours, found her crammed underneath the dishwasher!
Then it took me like 1/2 an hour to get her out.
But I got her and she's okay, I put her back in her viv and she's tourin around..had a drink, and a bath and tried to get out again...
But the REASON she got out.
We have a aquarium lid on her viv right now. Because I'm waiting on the screen lid that I ordered through Petland like 1.5 months ago. The aquarium lid has the little feeding lid or w.e on the front of it, which I tape down so Spike can't push it open.
Well. Her Daddy, decided that he was gunna show her to his friend who is terrified of snakes, and apparently didn't tape the F-ing lid down.
*sigh*
I'm learning all the ins and outs of snake ownership though! Lol!
My question is, can I still handle her? Or should I give her a day or so.
She seems fine, handled normally, didn't even think about biting me. And now she's back to her regular behaviors in her viv..

Thanks!

You made out! Our corn was missing for 5 days, found her under the tank, in the gap between the tank glass, and the rim!

Yeah, she should be fine now.
