Interesting Find

While taking my evening walk yesterday, I stumbled upon this little critter sunning himself by the side of the road. Only through patient and careful stalking was I able to get these rare and unusual photos.

I would have caught him for my collection, but I'm not sure what their husbandry requirements are, so I let him go on his merry way.

I believe this is an Alligator plasticus smalli.

Hmmm, if I see him again, I'll try to get a close up scale shot for you. And I may just bring him home and put him in the bathtub! Husbandry sound so simple, and he's such a cute li'l feller.

Great find . . . might want to consider being a 'Roy Munson' wuss and wear some gloves when you field collect it/her/him.
