So I brought my new baby home today, he is a stunning Abbotts Okeetee and I am so happy with him. I picked him up at the WCRE today in Red Deer, AB. So here he is...

I'm incredibly pleased with him =) The only problem is I forgot which breeder I got him from, there were so many but only one was selling Okeetees of any variety. Picked up to many business cards lol, would have liked knowing for my records. Tempted to go back tomorrow and try an pick up one of the females they had.

I stared at him for a good long time before I settled on the baby I picked up. Honestly, I kinda wanna go back tomorrow and pick up one of the females too. LOL. But they just didn't have his color.

Well I know one of the females is in shed ,her eye caps are cloudy, who knows what she really looks like; But there was just something special about him, knew as soon as I saw him that he was coming home with me.

The orange on his saddles is really bright!!! He's beautiful now, and I can't wait to see him grown up :) I like the name you picked for him too - and his face is too cute!!

I think I'm going to turn this thread into a sort of online journal/progression thread dedicated to Wyatt, and with that in mind....

I think tonight would have been Wyatt's feeding night if he wasn't in the middle of his settling in week. Although he already seems quite comfortable and confidant in his new viv, much more so than my first corn whom I rarely saw until he was almost a year. He seems to enjoy taking evening cruises around his viv, not at all bothered by an audience. Today he was all over, In and out of all his hides, climbing probe wires and his fake plants, just incredibly active. It looked to me like was hunting, so cute considering the size of him. Hope he'll forgive me for making him wait till Saturday.

Well Wyatt decided to grant me membership to the bite club. Didn't really hurt even though he left four tiny pinpricks of blood, kinda felt like rubbing the rough side of Velcro against my skin.
