Is 20" growth normal for yearling?

Got my corn exactly one year ago from today. I've been keeping records of his growth patterns and everything, and since today was feeding day, I took another measurement.

When I got him, he was 12.4" length, and today, he measured 32.5". I'm just wondering if that's average/normal corn growth or if he's growing longer than usual. Would it be wrong of me to assume he may grow up to 5'?

I'm keeping him in a 10 gallon right now, but it's getting crowded in there. I think that I'm going to have to get him a new tank in a few months. I was hoping that I could give him the 29 gal. that I'm housing a yearling carpet in when she grows out of it (measures 30x13x18) but he might need a new one sooner. Ugh!

Skip a 29 gal, as those a pretty high and don't have much floor space from what I see.

Corns grow at different rates, but I think that's pretty normal, maybe on the faster size.

im using a 29 gallon and its mostly tall, my corn is 37 inches and it is big enough, but barely. I wouldnt recommend using one unless you have no other choice. Im building a bigger vivarium now since their isnt to much floor space in his current tank.

I would also recommend that if you REALLY REALLY wanna use the 29 gal, add flora so the snake can climb, and make/buy 1-3 things that it can hide in up off the floor. One thing you could do is make a box with popsicle sticks and then glue/tape it to the high side.

something else to consider, I have heard of people flipping them on thier side for more floor space, not something I have done but something I have heard of. Make sure your lid clamps will work that way though if you decide to go that way.

There might be a kit for that. I know there's a kit to turn a 20gal long tank on the end and make it an arboreal tank.
