is it not too bad to skip a weekly feeding?

I feed my corn snake every week but last week I did not feed him.

I've been sick for 3 weeks including at some point straining my back and was bed bound at one point.

I was thinking its not a big deal right? they can go a long time without eating.

I'm about to feed him right now, mouse is defrosting.

this is not something i would do all the time.

No problem at all. I always skip feeding when he's in blue or if he just shed that day.

i just got him bigger mice just now hes 2 year old cornsnake. the owner was saying he was feeding him medium mice, but i dont think he knew what he was talking about. i just upped him to adult mice and it almost seems to big for him. can they eat adult mice at 2 years? they are sooo big should i just feed them every two weeks or change back to the size below?

It all depends on his size if he can eat an adult at 2. A snake can eat a mouse up to 1.5times the biggest part of his body.

Here's a link to a feeding chart based on weight

I have a yearling that could eat an adult mouse, she's still on weaned mice until she gets a little bigger then i'll move her to small adults :) She's a big girl.
