OK this may sound stupid but i've gotta ask just to put myself at ease, i've had my little one going on two weeks now, it been active through the night and has eaten for me, the past two nights it has been quiet in the viv, last night ( thursday) was time to be fed but it did'nt eat, i left the pinkie in with her/him all night and when i woke up it still had'nt eaten. Now normally she/he is at the warmside of the viv, but today its at the cool end under the moss hide, i've had a look and i think her/his eyes are blue, but not sure has anyone got pics of a corn just before it sheds, so i definateley know what im looking for?.
or is it something else?

Thanks

Use the "search" function. I remember many MANY "blue eye" pics poping up from time to time.

You didn't mention what cultivar you have. But if it has red eyes such as a snow or amel, it is a bit harder to tell if the eyes are in "blue".

Dark eyes are very easy and obvious to identify.

Sorry I have no pics, but hope this helps a little bit,

Quigs

Thanks to both,

He/she is only a baby so i've got a starter kit, heat mat, hide and a hide with moss in it, it's eyes are not as cloudy as the pic shows, but they are blue round them, maybe its the start of the cycle, i'm also guessing that this could last for a week or more before shed?

Jane,

That picture shows an exceptional amount of blue BTW.

Normally your snake will start ecdysis by displaying slightly muted belly scales. Next, it will look like it's been lightly dusted with baby powder (which may be hard to tell on a ghost) and then the eyes will develop a hazy blue cast to them. 2-3 days after the eyes turn blue they abruptly clear up. 3-4 days after clearing your snake will likely shed. Since this is your first shed, you may wish to either lightly mist the cage with water or add a second water dish to slightly raise the humidity. Once the snake sheds, make sure the shed is complete by examining the eye caps and tail carefully.

Thanks all,

yep checked this morning and she looks like the picture, i'va added extra water for humidity, so excited for the shed, its like watching a baby take there first step lol

Thanks again

Hi Jane. I was lucky as my first corn shed the first week I had him. However, I was able to tell the signs from researching online and I found the below site that has some good pics and description of the process. It really helped me identify the behavior when my snake was ready to peel his skin off so me and my boys were there to see the whole process.
