It Happened on Valentine's Day!!

This past Valentine's Day, my gf and I watched one of her snakes shed its skin. The snake's name is Shermy. While we shot no photos or video, it was a great experience and made our Valentine's Day that much more special.

Anyone else with a similar experience?

We were lucky enough to catch our kingsnake shed from tip to tail last year and it was so cool. He made a U turn and used his own body as friction to complete the shed on his lower half. That was the first time we'd seen the entire process.

I was lucky enough to see the complete process last night for the first time. I have always wanted to see the start of shedding and had watched all day in case it happened, i was just lucky enough to look and low and behold my anery stripe motley was on its back on the substrate pushing its head into the subtrate it then turned round and rubbed its chin in the substrate the shed was now just behind its neck the rest took approx. 2 mins to come off. It seemed to be a real easy shed and wonderful to watch.

I've only been lucky enough to catch half a shed, but it was exciting anyway. Great way to spend Valentine's Day for a herper!

Jeff and I got to watch Sienna's last shed, and it was very exciting for us too. What a great valentine's day present from Shermy!

We seem to have extrordinary luck sometimes. We had 2 shed simultaneously during a dinner party...totally took the emphasis off the lovely food and stole my thunder!!!
