Hello it's been a while since I've been on but just a couple questions. My corn Medusa has been hiding a lot lately. I got her in August and up until maybe mid December she was always out and about exploring. I live in Ohio and Once the temperature really started dropping outside she went into hiding. She pokes her head out of her hide from time to time eats like a champ and acts completely healthy but rarely comes out anymore. She also almost always stays on her cold side. The house stays at a constant 72 degrees all year round. Her warm side is controlled with a thermostat and stays around 86 degrees but she NEVER goes into her warm hide. So I guess my questions are first does anybody else living in northern areas have snakes that "hibernate" (without being breeding snakes) during winter months. And second are my temps ok on her warm side or do I just have a weird snake that likes to be cold? In input would be great thanks!
