Thought I'd introduce myself! I just got my first corn snake a couple of days ago. I got her(?) from the store I work at for an awesomely good price after looking at some sites! Two weeks ago I would never have thought I'd be owning a snake. I was slightly creeped out by 'em to say the least. I saw the one I got and her coloring was soooo pretty I made myself get over my fear and after about a week of handling her I got her! My boss said the lady called mine a ghost lavender or something, but she couldnt' really remember. I'm waiting for pics to get here and I'll post when they do!

I'm already planning my second addition if I can find one available for a decent price. I'd like to get a bloodred, keys corn, or some red type stripe. The breeder who brought my store the snakes said she also had some that were almost blue. Thought those might be interesting to see!

I can't wait to post 'em. They're crappy cell phone cam pics, but pics nonetheless! Hehe! I've been looking around at some pics, becuz I don't think anyone at my work knows the true color of my new baby, and I'm leaning more toward pastel ghost? or silver queen? She has a light lavender/grey background and the markings are outlined in a definite black & the markings themselves have a distinct pink tone to 'em.

I e-mailed the pics from my phone to my e-mail addy, but I'm with Cricket and..yeah..nuff said!

here's the pic! I warned ya it was a crappy pic but it's all I gots! :D

Nice looking snake. Can't exactly tell from the pick what it is, but maybe a ghost? :shrugs:

I'm kinda leaning toward ghost from what I've seen around here. When I get a decent camera in my hands I'll hafta take some better pics. Whatever she is I love her to death!
