My snake doesn't have any fancy genetics and I only got her from a pet store, it wasn't just an ordinary pet store, it was a snake breeder. I have had her for about a month now and figured it was time to post some photos. She is getting brighter with some of her colors and I can't wait until she gets her true color. Her name is Nyoka, which is Swahili for snake

She's a lovely amel. My very first snake was an amel too. He's now one of my largest animals and sired 21 little babies. A very gentle snake too....he's off to Illinois to be a school snake in a few days. I'm going to miss him, but he'll be fantastic with the kids!
