I know that a bath of cool-but-not-cold water has several benefits for cornsnakes but i was wondering just how is best to do it?
I`ve given Chione a quick wash using a 12" saucepan full of water that was slightly warmer than room temp, held her in one hand and tried to get her interested.. she sniffed at it and tried to crawl up my arm. Ok, so then i took her and glently immersed her midriff in the water and she wasn`t impressed, rattling her tail etc
. Then i tied just holding her whilst using my other hand to pour water over and this was slightly more successful . afterwards i placed her on a towel and let her slither around a little before putting her back in the tank.
Well, does this sound acceptable to you guys? and although she didn`t seem to enjoy her bath will it have been beneficial?
