So I'm pretty happy with the set up and I believe he is too! No I don't have UTH I only use lights....but my house is 70-75F so I know that's the temp of his cold side and I have a thermostat and humidity guage on the bottom of the tank in the hot side set on the glass surrounded by substrate and I keep it between 80-90F. I have 3 diff lights that I use to regulate the temp but it was way hot in my house last week and I had no lights on and his guage was reading 90F I felt bad but I don't have a/c so there was nothing I could do about it. He has 2 water dishes one on the hot side one in the middle and a water fountain on the cold side that he uses as a feeding rock, tail bath, and attemted escape route...I keep so much water in there to keep the humidity up cuz he HATES being misted. He's got tunnels through the whole tank and 2 hides. If yall have any suggestions plz give em, I've only had him since Apr and I've never owned a reptile before then. This started out as my 4yr old son's idea for a pet and somehow became a hobby for mom....kids I swear.
