Kisatchie? Corn or not?

Ok, so I got a breeding pair of Kisatchie corns. I am looking to sell or trade them, but first would like to have things cleared up about this "morph" or locality.

I was told that these guys are NOT corn snakes, but in fact genetically different than a corn. (recently?)

I just want to clarify what EXACTLY a Kisatchie is, before I try and re-home the pair. Any information would be greatly appreciated!!

My primary breeding focus is Ball Pythons, so I am still learning about the colubrid world.
 
It has always been my understanding that Kisatchie ratsnakes are Pantherophis slowinskii - a separate species to corn snakes entirely.
 
They are a subspecies/locality, Slowinski's corns or Elaphe slowinskii. Species name change happens all the time.
 
They are actually local to my area, named after the kisatchie forest where you can find a lot of them. From everything I have heard from people around here they are a local rat x corn hybrid.

Scientists have reclassified them as an Elaphe and given them their own species nomenclature.

Too bad my brother's wife will refuse to let him have snakes. I would tell him to get that pair from you, even if temporary, Kistache's are on a list of mine...lol
