Leopard Gecko Fight

I have a leopard gecko pair that I got last year as wee little ones. BOth high yellow. One girl, one boy. (I bet some of you know where I'm going with this already.) These were my first geckos, so I am inexperienced with them. They are in a 20 gallon long, with 3 hides, one of which is tree trunk style for climbing high. As they grew, the littler one started looking less girly. When I got home from Wall-e (movie) last night, I saw a little blood on the little geckos leg. (Her name is She-she.) So I got the neosporin and took her out. Her belly has a big gash/open area through the skin, she has two bites on her tail, and she is walking with her arm in a kind of backward direction. I neosporined her up, felt along her leg, which seems, well, intact, and put her in isolation. I'm thinking she is a he, just a bit underdeveloped.

I know you can't put males together. I took the bigger one out, (named Big Man), thoroughly cleaned the cage, and put "She-she" back. I am so upset. She-she seems to be doing okay, but her wounds are not pretty, so I don't know if he will recover, especially with his leg. It does go into the right position, btw, he just doesn't want to put weight on it.

This morning, She-she is still getting around. (He needs a new name!)
I put Big Man on Craigs list and was contacted almost immediately. He is being rehomed, with a small "rehome fee", this evening.

I just had to vent. It is so frustrating when critters attack each other. I'm praying for She-she's recovery, and that Big Man will get along with the girly gecko that the Lady I am rehoming him to has.

Yep She-She is a He-He, it just took him a long time to get, uh lumpier. Also, Big Man has big-uns, so maybe that confused me.
Though I heard that sometimes females have pores that look similar, they obviously don't have extra junk in the trunk like the males.
