Lineage Help

Hello, Im new to the forum. So if this has been discussed, let me know where to find it.
WE recently obtained a clutch of 07 babies. We know that mom was a snow.
In the clutch of 7, we got the following
1 snow
3 amel
3 anery
1 normal ( we think she might be carmel)

is there an easy way to track back to the the fathers genes.

Thanks

If mom was a snow, dad's most likely a normal looking corn hetero. amelanism and anerythrism. He couldnt be a snow, amel or anerythristic, because you got a normal looking baby. As far as tracking lineage, there is a registry for corn snakes http://herpregistry.com/, but the parents of your clutch would have to be registered animals to get any background on them...

thanks for the reply.
Just a little clarification.
Neither of the parents are registered.
The clutch was 10 total.
We got 7. 3 amel,3 anery, 1 normal.
They still had the snow baby. the others where gone already.

My under standing, now, is that dad had to be het anery/ het amel.

the six could be het for the non expressed trait. the normal could be het for one or the other or both.

Is that right?

normal dad het for snow X snow mom

The snow is just that, a snow. The amels would be het for anery A, the anerys het for amel and the normal het for snow (amel and anery A). Now that doesn't include any possible hets that the parents could be carrying that are unknown. Hypomelanism is a pretty common "unknown" het carried by a lot of corns, as is amelanism and anerythrism A.

Do you have a pic of the normal? Why do you think it might be caramel?

The one normal does not seeem to have any reds in her. the saddles are a chocolate color on a bases of cream/light brown. She's only about 12 inches, and i know her colors will change.
