Look at what I found in the Garden!

Corn Snake Breeder
I have been finding tons of these little guys running around my property this year. I really dont ever remember seeing snakes like this before. Mostly I find classic Oklahoma Garters or Red Sided Garters but these new snakes are a bit unique. They are burrowers from what I can tell. The below pictured one is the only juvenal/adult I have found. he was about 1 1/2 feet down in the dirt while digging in the garden. What do you think this guy is?

Thanks for the reply! Those are nifty critters. Looks Like they are also called rough brown snakes.

Not sure but I am opting out of keeping them. It looks like their main diet is earthworms and they like to spend a lot of time underground. I think you would need a vive that was at least partial soil for them to borrow in. So on occasion you would have to dig to find him. Very cool looking animal and super docile. This is a real kid friendly snake lack the occasional musking. But I think I will leave them outside and just enjoy them in nature.

when I was planting my roses my daughter found 2 little guys like that in our garden near each other,I bet lots of people have them in their gardens, but would really freak out if they knew about it--ignorance is bliss for them I guess LOL
