Looking for Adult Pewter

Hello Everyone!

I am looking for an adult pewter to accompany my bloodred, Serafina. She is VERY timid and scares easily, so I've been looking for another snake who is very docile, very calm, and is not aggressive towards people/other snakes. As of now I do not have a preference between M/F and I am not looking to breed AT ALL. These are my personal pets, not my business. Ideally I would like to adopt an animal hatched 2008-2010.

I hope someone out there is able to help me with my search!

Thank you

What do you mean by "accompany?" Having another snake won't make Serafina any calmer. Are you wanting another snake so you can have more handling time?

I'm not trying to make Serafina any calmer. She's great just the way she is and handles perfectly well on a regular basis. I don't really mean anything in particular by "accompany" except that I want both snakes to interact peacefully when they are in the same immediate area. They would "accompany" each other in that they're both my animals.

I want another snake because they're wonderful creatures and I enjoy spending time with them. I would rather adopt an adult that someone is looking to sell or has available rather than a hatchling that could likely be advertised and sold easily.

Gotcha, just making sure you weren't planning on housing them in the same cage, as that can be very dangerous!

I'm not sure where you could find an adult pewter but if you keep your eyes peeled, I'm sure one will come up! Last year I got a beautiful batch of corns from John at Colorado Corns, including a Pewter. John's name on here is Zorro. I have no idea what he has for sale, especially adult-wise but if you send him a PM he might have something that tickles your fancy!

Thank you for the concern, but no, I was not planning on housing them together. Thanks for the tips!

Oh also just wanted to say, we loooooooooooove pics!! Would be great to see Serafina!

I read a book once called....crap. I will have to look it up. But one of the characters was named Serafina.

You might be referring to the His Dark Materials triology by Philip Pullman? Those are the only books I know of with a character named Serafina...

Whoops, I was actually thinking of From the Corner of His Eye by Dean Koontz, and her name was Seraphim, lol.

Your Serafina is beautiful!
