Sorry for the quality, I tried about 50 shots in different lighting, this is the best I can do with the Screen mounted camera I have. Had just finished reading C.S. Lewis's space trilogy (The Silent PlanetPerelandraThat Hideous Strength) when I decided it was time for a corn and given corn's colorings I figured a Venus themed name would work nicely. Perelandra would have been the snakes name had it been a female. Book spoiler Ransom, the main character, travels to Perelandra (i.e. Venus), and upon return to earth becomes inheritor of King Arthur's throne in "modern" times, he becomes the Pendragon of LogrethSeemed fitting for a snake.
