I go by the girth of the snake not the length of it.
You could have a 2 foot fat snake or...a 2 foot skinny snake so....
I feed my snake a mouse that is about 1 and 1/2 time the snake girth.
And you could use the Munson plan too.
Yes, I might move him up a size. and Also, Lennycorn is right go 1 and 1/2 times his girth. Don't let him get used to eating food too small. Also bigger food will give him more nutrition and he will be healthier.
