I apologize for not reading any of teh other posts in this thread- honestly there's no need... there's TWO top notch products out there that deal with mites- QUICK!!!!

PROVENT-A-MITE (spray on bedding- wait 10 minutes to air out- add snake- last a month or so- problem will be gone by the next day AT THE LATEST)

BLACK KNIGHT- heck, you can spray the animals & cage with this... works wonders- kills mites dead!

Both products can be found on the BEAN FARM website...they can ship it to your front door.

This isn't the 1980's anymore where mites ruined/destroyed many a snake collection...nowadays we have proventative & SAFE products (no more mineral oil, no pest strips, sevens dust, louse killer, etc.).....

I ALWAYS stray the bedding of ANY new incoming snake with teh PROVENT-A-MITE even if I "know" the snake is clean- it's not worth the risk...

Doubt I helped... spend alittle cash and buy one of the above products and your troubles should be cured...

Anyway, I will stuck with the NIX. with 12$ i have almost 4 litres of solution spray.
It did the job excellent, no reason to change it. It also kills the eggs, something that the other products is said that do not kill.
