Hi!

A friend of mine recently got this cornsnake home. She layed eggs couple of days ago..
As you can see, she's in a very bad shape (and was in bad shape already before laying eggs)..

But now to the question.
What morph is she?

I couldnt answer his question unfortunately..

yeah, She needs food!!

Apparently she didnt want to eat before laying the eggs (not to uncommon)..
Hopfully she will eat just fine after the shed.

Yes, Amel she is. But she looks so wierd..

She's absolutely beautiful!! Poor thing though. I hope you can turn her into a big eater. Let us know how it goes; would you please? She really is a looker.

Not a paradox at all. That would require black markings. Those markings look kinda like a Calico, but I'm always used to seeing it with non amel animals. Then again, that doesn't mean that it can't happen with an amel. It could just be some very heavy stonewashing. She's got some pretty nifty colors. Maybe she can actually pass them on.

OT... Who in their right mind would sell your friend a gravid snake? As if the poor girl needed the extra stress of changing environments. She needs some serious TLC. Feed her slow, with small food items. Looks like she could easily go shocky.

Very pretty colouring!

I would have offered her a really small meal just after laying, just like Tim (TandJ) said a couple of rat pinks or a couple of mouse fuzzies, before going into her post lay shed. She needs building up, but take it slow and steady, with smaller meals a little more frequently.

Hope that helps,

She is a very weird looking amel.. Please get her eating as soon as possible, she needs to gain wait asap. I can't wait to see pics of her after she pics up her weight..
