Mouth injury

Ok basically my friends dog attacked the snake and we saved it.
My problem is there are some little scratch Marks and idk how to clean them like what's safe to use. The big thing is his mouth looks bloody and his tongue looks like it's hanging out. Now tomorrow I was gonna take him
To a local snake breederto help me out but I wanted to know if there was something I could do to help in the meantime? I was thinking about flushing his mouth out with a syringe of water but I was afraid to hold his head because I didn't want to hurt it. Im pretty sure the mouth injury is from it vigorously striking at the dog. Also the snake is moving around normally and he can go straight in the air pretty far. But he seems kind of slow at the same time.

I would def put the snake some place out of view and in a dark room. Giving the snake as much hide space and time to relax would be the best thing. you can use neosporin without any pain killers but I would use a q tip to at least clean the wounds some what before putting the cream on. Maybe also replacing the bedding after the snake has had time to relax with shredded paper towels will keep the space hyper clean and easy to see if blood or puss becomes apparent. Keep and eye on the snake but I and visiting a vet might be in order. Pics? Pictures always help! even if its a crappy cellphone pic!

good luck!

Pictures could have helped, and there is nothing like being able to see it in person, (plus, do not know if dog got hold of the snake) but ...
If the wounds are dirty, clean/flush the wounds, as best you can, with water. Cleaning with 1 part 3% Hydrogen peroxide, to 10 parts water, should be safe enough, as well, if you feel the snake needs it (externally, not inside mouth)... then rinse with plain water.
After cleaning, put some Neosporin on the wounds (external use, of course ;) )... daily, until healed.
Use paper towels, on the floor of its viv/enclosure, rather than substrate... plus provide proper basic needs & temps.
If the wounds are rather superficial (you mention "scratches"), or it has lost some teeth, the snake should end up healing okay. If the wounds are bad, an antibiotic shot, or two, may be in order but that would be a Vet's call. Hopefully, there isn't any unseen internal injury.
