• Hello!

Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.

Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....

Please be certain that the location field is correctly filled out when you register. All registrations that appear to be bogus will be rejected. Which means that if your location field does NOT match the actual location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected.

Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.

Moving out of state

I will be moving from California to Oregon, an 18 hour drive, so it's basically a 2-3 day trip. How would we go about taking our snake? Leave him in his tank and put it in the backseat? Put him in a bigger or smaller container? Water? UTH? Tips please.

I've traveled with my guys either in their tanks or in a tupperware with air holes. I don't feed them for 5 days before hand or five days after arriving....just make sure they have the opportunity to have a drink if you're going to be on the road for a while...if you don't feed them, you don't have to worry so much about the temperatures, just make sure it doesn't get too hot, heat in a car is more dangerous than cold at this time of year.
