someone failed to secure the lid on my five month old corns tank. she`s been missing 24hrs. i am so devastated. looked everywhere. help! :wavey:
 
Well, my psychic powers only work when I'm in physical contact with an object touched by the subject. You're an ocean away, so this isn't feasible. :grin01: Do a 'search' for key-words such as "escape", and you'll find a ton of threads that will give you suggestions. Best of luck.
 
thanks roy. i`ve just apologised fro hi jacking that other thread. blind panic cos she`s missing and first time in posting. i`ve never ever posted in months of using this site cos i`ve never needed to. i`ve always found my answers by searching through the forums, bit of patience and it`s usually there. i won`t do it again. and thanks for yr prompt response. she`ll turn up eventually hopefully.
 
you might also add: "lost", "cant find", "help", "missing", etc...........to your search list.
 
please don`t patronise me, i`ve admitted my error and apologised. and said i`ve always been avid about searching and listening before i posted. if you want to belittle me and make me look stupid cos i posted in a blind panic then go for it. i just miss my snake and am scared for her. no crime. just love my baby. i`m no hijacker and i am intelligent enough to know what words and phrases to use in `search`
 
sorry if that sounds harsh but this site has been my savour, i`ve learnt tons and loved trawling thro every forum about everything. i post a plea cos i`m scared and upset and get lectures and rules chucked at me. i messed up. i`m upset. i`m sorry. just felt like the rules of the forum, even tho they were never broken intentionally are more important than my little one being missing` just thought a love an respect of corns was the fundamental issue here. it`s wht we bother loggin on.

hi, still not found her, most people think i`m mad cos i`m fed up bout it, she`s my pet like the dog and cat! her home is still set up and waiting for her, i won`t give up on her. thanks for all yr tips and advice guys. spec dagiant x
 
Fluffy Returns!!!!!!

hi all, fluffy has turned up. safely curled in a boot. this pair of boots had been checked many times so don`t know where she was hiding but she`s back, safe and well :cheers: :wavey:
 
Glad you found Fluffy! What a relief it is to find an escapee. I don't think anyone was trying to belittle you, just trying to help. Almost everyone here has had an escapee at one time or another so we know what you were going through.
 
I'm glad you found her. I have one that got out a week a little over a week ago, so it gives me hope that he'll show up.
 
thanks for all your support, all of you, i was so upset and in a complete stupid sulky mood the night i posted, never thought it would hit me that hard, but hey! getting used to the little escapee, she was back a total of 48 hrs when she got out again, no idea how, no one will own up to misplacing lid on viv again, so she`s back on her big adventure!!
she`ll prob send me a postcard she`s getting that used to travelling

:eek:..........i am sorry. hopefully i read this wrong. but from what i could understand................you have lost your snake again, within 2 days of getting it back. :eek1: please confirm that this is not the case, and it is safely back in it's home. :shrugs:
 
unfortunately, you read it right. was safe and sound back in her viv tuesday evening and had escaped again by thursday evening. hoping she just turn up again, but might not stay away as lond this time, she didn`t feed when she was back either so not fed now for bout six weeks :shrugs:
 
back safe!!!!

hi all, fluffy the escapee is now safely back in her viv with a secure lid!. found her this morning inside the computer printer. don`t know what made me look there but she was happily curled up inside it. thnkfully no one has used it since she went missing or i dread to think what would have happened.

anyway thanks for yr support and advice all of you x

Glad to hear that she's back again! I would be threatening every other living being in the house (including the cat) with death if they take her lid off without you being there.... and considering the houdini that she appears to be maybe a brick or two on top might be in order :D :D :D
