My first Corn snake/advise

Hello I am just about to purchase my first corn snake. I was wondering with all you lovers out there that you could give a novice a hand? a few words of advice? All this would be much appreciated. Cheers

Very important - get The Corn Snake Manual by Bill and Kathy Love. In my opinion it's a must have.

Good luck!

Yes I'm sorry about the vaugness of the question but I really am a novice. I'm 31 yrs old and live in Edinburgh. Are there any specific do's and don'ts? apart from the common sense type things.

Will I also be able to buy that book in Britain?

i would recomend you read this forum pretty well for a week or two and also have a look at some care sheets... MORE THAN ONE care sheet as sometimes you get funny discrepancies between authors.. best have a look around and make your own mind up... keeping a corn is as easy as any other pet out there provided you get the enclosure setup right and meet some fairly basic needs...

can`t comment on the book they`re pimping `cos i dont have a copy.
