My snakes feeding preferences, haha

sandybunny

Bigger house=more snakes!
I can't believe my snake prefers to eat in this specific manner. I had two feedings rejected. I was trying privacy, and in a tupperware container. He acted uninterested. Finally, one night my husband, my three year old daughter, and myself had him out for play time. We had him on a white towel on the living room floor with us laying on our bellies around him. We decided we would try to feed him while he was out. Sure enough, his nose touched the pinkie and he ate it! :eek1: Right in front of us within inches he ate the pinkie. I was amazed. :crazy02:
Well, tonight was feed time again so we repeated the same routine. Again, he did not hesitate! It seems that Cheerio has specific preferences for feeding: on a white towel, on the living room floor, with a captive audience. :eats02: He almost seems to like the company while dining. I don't like eating alone either. I simply pick him up and put him back in the viv after he's finished. :)
Hey, if anyone is having feeding trouble, you can give this a shot. :shrugs:
