Oops, I don't know why I called him a 2008, he's a 2007. He's up to 336 grams as of 18 July.

Don at SMR has a great bloodline of Abbott Okeetees. He hand selected his animals from a huge group of individuals to start with- picking the best of the best. Then handpicking offspring and selecting for bright colors and thick borders- his efforts really show. Beautiful Okeetee you have there! Congrats!

Good info to know! Yes, I would have to agree, his efforts definitely show!

Thought I would post a few more of Flash because he just turned 2 years old yesterday. :)

Wow he's bright! Flash really suits him!

Hehe, actually, I named him Flash because as a hatchling, anytime he saw us or got an opportunity to get away, he was literally, "gone in a flash"! LOL. Yeah, he was just REALLY quick when he was a hatchling. I wasn't sure if they were just ALL like that but now that I've got my second hatchling, I can definitely say the answer to that question is "NO", cause my new Miami, Zeke, doesn't do that at all, I mean I've really never seen him move all that quickly, he's much calmer than Flash was when he was a hatchling.

Ha ha! So much for the feeding container!! You'd think the mouse was alive the way he was going at it and he ate it tail end first, on my counter top, instead of in the feeding container.

As of 27 Oct he was up to 398 grams but I'm going to back off now on his feedings and feed him every 10 days now instead of every 7 cause I think he's getting a bit too plump!

I've never seen such a gorgous okeetee!! Very nice snake ya got there!! :)

Thanks, I'm very happy with him! I should send Don a pic of him and let him know how happy I am at how nice he turned out.

I see Hershey's Cocoa!!! I want some!!!!! lol

Hehe, I put it in my coffee, along with creamer and stevia. And it has to be the DARK choc cocoa, I tried the regular baking cocoa before and it just didn't do it for me.
