Ok heres the plan, I dont know if any of you knew about this, but Im in the Army Reserves, Im serving the best country in the World, this country gives us the freedom to enjoy having and collecting snakes! But unfortunatly I have been called up out of my reserve unit and joining a bigger active duty group... This has been sudden for me since I didnt know I was going to get called up! but Im probably going to be leaving Kansas around the beggining of Jan...
I live in Kansas, and I would like for someone around here to snake sit them for me... I have 10 Ball Pythons, and 6 cornsnakes... 3 of the Balls are ready to breed and Ill let you do whatever you want with the babies... The babies would be 50% het for Albino... I would like to drive and drop them off, I would also pay for thier food each month and would pay slightly more for your time and effort in getting the food and cleaning their cages... I only want to drive within 1 state of Kansas... so if you would like to do this, then please post it here... Im 100% sure that Im getting called up so this isnt a joke... Im really leaving... I just want to see who is out their that would be willing to help a soldier in need... I think my girlfriend is going to try to take care of them but she doesnt really no what to do, so I want someone is experienced and willing to work with them...

Hrrrrm... do they come with cages and heaters? I don't have spare caging for 6 corns and 10 BPs, but I do have extra space... Serpwidgets would be another person to talk to too, as he and I are in the same area. And we're both within one state of Kansas (you can see Kansas from the peaks of some of the mountains here). I only have experience with corns, but Serp's handled BPs before. Could be fun. :)

HMMM right now Im just in this nasty little situation... Kat thanks for considering it, how does this sound... I can purchase some Melaniem (sp?) and build a rack down at your or Serps house... I could then order some flexwatt heat tape, It doesnt take that long to put together a rack system... I have the BP's in some Sterilite Blanket boxes (The real big ones around 4ft long 2 ft wide) I could get alot more... I only have 1.2 adult bps, 0.2 BPs are yearlings I guess at a pretty good size, and 0.5 babies which are 02 they shouldnt take up that much room, but I would gladly pay for all their expencise plus a little more just to help you and Serp out, I could drive them down their with no problem... I trust you and Serp since Ive known both of you ever since I joined this Forum, and I know you wont just disapear on me... : ) Well if your intrested then please write back, OH and Serp if you reading this then please write back also... I'll be leaving the beggining of Jan around the 3rd or so... so I have about 1 month to get everything set up...

Just an update. JR brought the BP's over and got them all set up in their rack. His girlfriend is caring for his corns, though.

The snakes' names are just temporary identifiers (JR hasn't named them himself) so that I have something to call them while they're in my care. (I have yet to give in to that EGG92005 stuff ;)
