hey i wanted to know what corn morph to get at tomorrows show i live in nj so anything with red eyes and in a price rang 0-$150 i know that it's not important but i just don't know what to get there are to many pretty ones.:shrugs:

I think you'll be best off looking around the stalls and making your choice on the day. Some snakes look & sound dull over the web but can look stunning in the flesh.

A really good example of an Amel Motley or Stripe takes some beating for me - something with nice clean markings and vivid colours. It's really down to personal taste.

Remember that hatchlings won't necessarily stay exctly the same colour as they grow.

Sorry, that really depends on who is selling at the show, whether there's a lot of competition, whether someone is trying to clear stock on the day, etc. Too many variables to be sure but Amels are one of the lower end morphs so I wouldn't expect it to be near your upper limit.

Bring all of it! There's so much at herp shows, including cheap feeders, decor, toys, shirts, jewelry, etc... not just the animals! But an amel stripe hatchling would be very overpriced if it even took up half your limit. Wait til the show is close to closing for deals unless you absolutely, positively must have an animal and aren't sure it'll still be there in a few hours!

Most places have ATM's, I'm sure you get out a little extra if you needed to. Just pick out what appeals to you. You're the one who has to live with it and care for it.

Gawd, I sound like my mother.

thats very true sorry i haven't been to a herp show in a while so u know
by the way you sound like my mom too

Amels should cost no more than 20 bucks, I think.

On the other hand, take all your money (or a credit card) and pick whatever catches your eye. I just recommend getting something that's at least a month old.

When I got my Amel het motely/anery he was 40.
Boyfriends Okeetee was 45.

But we got both together for 70.
