I think this is where these questions belong. I'm goin to buy a 90 gallon tank and I was jus wondering what I should use and how to go about turning the tank into a two sided tank for my Copper and the next baby I get. I don't know if its even possible. But I figure everyone on here does their own projects so you all might have some advice. Any advice would be very helpful.

I have never done it with snakes but my dad did something similar with fish.

He bought a piece of plexi glass and used a non toxic glue. I can't remember the name of the glue because this was years ago but the local vet said it was all good.

My cousin uses ply wood to keep his spiders apart but I'm not sure if that would work for snakes.

I've done it once for my turtle tank. Well, it was an aquarium but I wanted only water in the one half and plants in the other. Like an Island =)

I went to a glass-shop and had them cut me a piece of glass the size I needed, and made sure it was thick enough as to not break too easy. The glass-people can round off the edges for you, too. Make sure they do that for at least the top edge so you don't cut your arm open when you clean the tank.
Check on prices, they were a LOT cheaper than I thought it would be.

I used silicone glue for Aquariums and glued the 3 sides of the piece of glass into place.

You'll need something heavy to place on each side of the glass so it can't shift. Can't remember what I used, but I think it was pieces of wood wedged into place. You don't want the glass to shift before the silicone's dry

Good luck!

If you want to stay cheap, get a piece of smooth wood (maple is one but i think its expensive im sure there is cheaper) and get it cut to dimensions you can measure from inside the tank. From there all you really need to do its glue it, im sure all cocking will do although it should be given weeks to dry fully and be washed afterward, i cant imagine dried cocking being hazardous, and i doubt a snake will ever try to eat it. Or even a hot glue gun will work. Dont over think it, its a fairly simple task that may seem hard. Thats a really smart idea by the way and I wish i bought a big tank and did that, it saves space and lots of money!

Thanks I figure I don't wanna have a bunch of small tanks so I'll take a kinda big one and split it. Lol and as for me I over analyze everything that's how my head works.. and sometimes I should just go with the first gut feeling but I think and think till I can't anymore. Oh well I guess..lol.

I do the same thing *sigh*. But hope it works out well!

Glad to know I'm not the only one who does that... Lol. Thanks me to. I can't wait to get another I'm just not sure what kind I've seen so many beauties on here I can't choose. Lol
