On Wikipedia a lot of links, so I wrote here. Maybe someone knows more new and interesting sources? With my knowledge of English is quite difficult to find really good and useful books and articles.

It suffices to compare the number of links in the English-language article on the snakes with the Russian language, and you will understand how bad things are(

I tried looking up cornsnakes and it's pretty bare.

Another very interesting sounding physics research about snakes ability to "hear" even though they lack a tympanic membrane or actual ear openings. Although, I'm not quite sure how to go about downloading it.
