I just purchased a 5 year old pair of proven Lavenders today at a local reptile show. The seller said that he had been brumating them for the past 6 weeks or so and that they were brought out of brumation for the show, probably been at 60 - 80 degrees for the last two days. My question is, should I put them back into brumation for another 6-8 weeks or since they have warmed up, go ahead and continue at normal temps? Another thing that worried me a little is that one of them had a very small, very black and wet bowel movement when I put him into his tub. I'm now not too sure on how well they were prepared for brumation. Any advice would be appreciated.
