new corn snake

You should leave it a few days to get settled. 5-7 days is recommended. It lets the snake get used to it's new home. So it isn't stressed. After that, you're good to try feeding.

yup, no handling or anything other than replacing water for the first week. Then try to feed an appropriately sized meal in a seperate sterile container than let it be for 48-72 hours before your first handling. I know it will be hard, but in the long run the health of the snake is most important.
