honest, I'll only get 1
I bought my son a cornsnake yesterday and would like to introduce you. The snake is Tigger (at least until we know if its a male or female) and my son is Alex (also known as Tigger). We fed him tonight for the first time (the snake, not Alex). Of course, when we first took him out of his tank, he did strike at Alex which upset him a bit. I told him it was probably a combination of stress from being relocated and being hungry (7 yr old fingers can look like a pinkie).

This is our first snake, so I'm sure we'll be around with lots of questions!

Thanks,
Greg and Alex

Welcome to the forums, You are definitely in the right place. There are some of the most knowledgeable people here and all are willing to help. Most hatchlings can be nippy at first, but almost all calm down with gentle handling. Good luck with him and let us know when you get the next one. It's inevitable!

Welcome to the site
Great addtion you have to the family

As mentioned before, they are a bit nippy at first. But with gentle handling, they'll get used to you in no time.

Soon you'll find out that these snakes are VERY ADDITIVE....
I started out with 1 about 13 years ago and now.....I have around 600 just on adults......so yeah....hahahaha

Great looking little snake you have there!!

Welcome to the forums. Good choice of a place to hang out if you love/own corns. Yeah, they are VERY addictive so I will give you advice......"avert eyes at all times when seeing corns for sale, do not make direct eye contact or you're lost. If you feel like you are falling under its hypnotic spell, close your eyes and count to ten all the while chanting 'I don't want you, I don't want you...'. If all fails....well, buy it, you'll still be happy" :)

Seriously, nice looking little one you got yourself.....ummm, I mean your son. Ok, I have to ask, who is having more "fun" with it, Dad or son? ;)

LOL Mum, I have your avatar as the wallpaper on my computer hoping and wishing in '05!!! They ARE very addictive and you will always be plotting your next morph or breeding pair!
