I was at the Midwest reptile show two weeks ago, and I found someone trying to trade this guy for a blood het pewter hatchling. The vendor kept saying no, but he had $75 a piece for the hatchlings.

The guy seemed very dejected, so I asked him how much cash he wanted for the snake. He said that he bought him as a hatchling two years ago for $75, and knew that he had gone up in value since then. He said that he wanted $100.00. I laughed politely, and told him that I had $60 I could give hime for the male. He took it quickly.

Good deal for me or not, I now have a trio, and that means babies if I can get him to lock up next spring. Hurray for me.

nice sunglow motley...they're great looking snakes...they just get brighter and brighter with each shed.
 
He's beautiful! Congrats on the deal. I'd look for a Spanish name, to go with his future girlfriends...Diego, Pablo, Don Juan...something like that. =)
