New snake question

Ok i just got my first snake its a Creamsicle Corn. I put it in a plastic container with a water bowl and hide box with a heatlamp above it. I was wondering how long i should leave my snake there before moving it to its tank? My neighbor told me to put it in the container so i can see how it does with feeding and that i should feed it 2 times while its in the container before i move it.
I was wondering what you guys thought so if you have any advice please help me.

hi,

i got my corn on Thursday, the petshhop owner said to put im in the tank and feed him the same day, he ate 2 pinkies and is doing well.

I think it is best to go ahead and put him in his new home. He needs to get used to his new home...not a temporary home. It will just be more stressful, in my opinion, if he has to adjust to two different homes.

Also, it is best to wait a week before handling him or feeding him. The move will have been stressful enough without him having to digest his food also.

thx

thanks a lot guys i appreaite the help. Robert is my dad by the way he posts here and said i would get some good advice here:). thanks for the reply.
