New snake won't eat

We got a new cornsnake 2 weeks ago. It is a baby. The breeder said it last ate on 2/8. We have tried feeding it on three separate occasions and it will not eat. When should I worry and any advice?

Did you give the snake a full week to settle in? Without holding it or bothering it at all? If not, then it's probably still scared. Leave it alone for a full WEEK. Put a towel over the tank, and even give the snake a water bowl big enough that will hold enough water for an entire week. DONT BOTHER THE SNAKE AT ALL. Don't lift the towel, don't open the cage, pretend you don't even have a snake. After a week leave a dethawed mouse of the appropriate size somewhere obvious in its tank. Leave the towel on the tank and leave the snake alone until the next day and I'm sure the snake will have eaten. Corn snakes are supposed to have very strong feeding responses so I would try to get him to eat ASAP. If he is losing weight at all he may be sick.

Agree with leaving it alone for a week, but you should still put in fresh water daily, nothing worse than stale water. I also wouldn't put a towel over the tank, unless it's a very high traffic area, since it'll need to get used the area traffic at some point.
What are your temps like?
What are you feeding size wise?
What's your tank like? Is it secure enough?
How are you offering mice? F/T or live? If F/T, is it fully defrosted? Do you just leave it in the tank? Make it zombie dance? How long do you try for?
How big is your snake?
Can you weigh it? Not eating is fine, long as they don't loose drastic amounts of weight.

So no handling for the next week, and no handling until it eats consistently (unless you need to quickly weigh it). Offer food once a week, when snake seems to be most active - this is usually around dusk and the evening. Good luck!! [emoji4]
