Well i'm new to the site and I have alot more to be reading up on. I'm not exactly sure on the type of corn she is. I had her name when I bought her but I've forgotten it =) I bought her at a reptile show over 2 years ago. This picture was taken about 4 months after I got her (she was just little when I brought her home) and now she's almost 3 ft long! She also eats hoppers now which was a great upgrade from her smaller morsels sizes! She eats 2 of these now. I didnt really know anything about snakes before I got her but I couldn't resist. She is my favourite color after all! I hope to learn alot more on this site because I hope to breed her one day. Anyways here's what she looks like. (well not now.. she's alot bigger) Enjoy =)

Welcome to this site. You've come to a great place for reading and learning and sharing. Hope you enjoy your new hobby.

And, yes, that is an amel.

hey yammi and welcome to the site!!! great looking snake, but do you have any updated pictures to share?

Welcome yammi
This is THE place to be for corn snake info
All of the best are here
And I would love to see an updated pic also

Hey thanks for the welcomes!! :) Well I don't think I have any recent photo's of Yammi my cameras battery is dead so it will be a while. She never sits still for me and I don't like getting her picture when she's eating it just looks so morbid lol. Well I know she's amelanistic but what kind? Doesn't matter I guess. She is beautiful and i'm glad I came here. I never really thought to look into any sites about corn snakes but since I would like to eventually breed her I thought this would be a great way to start. My next step is finding an equally beautiful male snake that she'll get along with who is around her age. MIght be hard I think since when they get bigger so does the dollar value! Well I will scrounge around for some better pics of her and post them asap!
