anery???..If it looks just like mine, Than its a Normal classic..or it may just be a normal of a sort. Not an anery..but what do you mean anery??..what color(s) is your corn?

The PH part stood for "Possible Hets" and the Possible Hets my snake has are anery, Motley and Sunkissed...is that where you were confused??
but If you snakie looks like mine..Than its a "NORMAL CLASSIC"...and it may have hets...but it also may not...do you know?

Mine looks exactly like yours. Oh okay I don't really understand this type of lingo.. No i do not know if it has hets.

Mark:

someone correct me if I'm wrong but the way I understand it is that Possible Hets refers to genes that the snake could potentially pass on to its offspring down the line based on the genetics of its parents. However, possible hets are not physically obvious and if your snake was bought at a pet store then there's really know way of telling if it has possible hets without speaking to the breeder who produced it or observing offspring years down the line.

Right...I had no idea where the snake came from..So I was just wondering if he knew if it had any Hets..or Possible hets..that he knew of. maybe he was told if it did..but now I know its unsure if there is any..
I know it will not effect the phenotype..just curious about the snake..
BTW where did you get your snakie from??

Just about 3 weeks ago i paid $5 to buy it from my teacher. The snake is probably around what 2 months now.

Sounds like a great teacher...
One of the teachers that worked at my high school when I was still in HS..gave me my Yellow rat Snake..
and what a nice price you paid..5 bucks..awesome!:dancer:

Amanda's right- what a great teacher and great find for $5!!

Looks like a Giraffe! Love the pattern and colours! :)

I always thought the same thing about normals- That's why my normal is named Melman (after the hypochondriac giraffe from Madagascar!)

Well yeah. He had about 5 of them and didn't want to bother with feeding them because he has a bunch more animals in class so he just started selling them.

if u want to see some more pictures of normals, check out twister's progression thread (link is in my signature). it has about 40 pictures of my normal corn snake, twister
