Normal for Shed?

luvmycorn

My corn is my god
My snake is in the clear eye after blue phase. She has been hiding in her warm viv area and not coming out at all...... and she is always all curled up. is this normal during shed?

I wouldnt worry about it at all, mine to this too sometimes, you'll probably find that she does come out...but its when your sleeping.I used to think mine never came out of their hides but after I started getting used to the noises...I could hear them out and about in their vivs or if you get up through the night and turn the light on, you'll probably see her freeze in mid move and put a guilty face on. She'll probably be more lively after shed too...because then she'll be hungry,

Yep, hiding before a shed is completely normal. While they're blue, they're blind because the scales over their eyes are part of the old skin that's starting to separate ready for the shed.

In the wild, this would make them vulnerable to predators, so instinct tells them to take cover and stay out of sight until they shed and can see properly again.
