Nose chafing?

So I can't tell whether or not the color on Wade's nose is just a regular spot of orange, or if it's red from chafing his nose on the top of his cage (the lid is mesh). He does like to poke around up there at night (if the regular thumps he makes when he falls off are anything to go by).

Here are some pics for reference. DO NOT be distracted by his adorable little face.

Thanks, guys!

You named your RO Wade that is so priceless, lol It doesn't look like a scab though have you never noticed it before. May just be his coloring.

The spot was so small I was having problems deciding for sure. That's reassuring, thanks!

Hee, yeah, it's short for Damballah-wedo. I had this big name all picked out and came home with the tiniest snake ever. It seemed like overkill so it got shortened to Wade.
