The snake-who-wouldn't-shed has finally done it ...She shed!! It's been 8 weeks (actually longer, becuz I have no idea when she shed before I got her) and she looked miserable for a few days, so I was worried. But this morning, there it was - all one nice long piece! I find myself unable to throw it away, I'm just so proud. LOL :D
Has anyone's snake gone longer than that before a shed??

Just wanted to share the joy!!

Glad to hear it finally happened but how big is she? My Carolina has taken longer than eight weeks but she is over two feet long.

No my corns seem to have there sheds down to a period... it usually seems to be around every 1 month... but congrats on your corns shed!

Thanks. Willow had a nice feast last night in celebration! She is about 20 inches. Pet store told me she was "less than 6 months" old. She was very skinny when I got her, but is putting on some width. They told me to feed her a pinkie a week, but the advice here has helped me determine that she should be on fuzzies!
