Lovely snake, when are you getting your next one? It's so hard not to get another, especially when there are so many different colour's and pattern's.

another one hooked....

nice snake!!! yep yer in trouble!!! gonna be wanting 5 more in a month... :) congrats on the new snake...:) ---jim

Beautiful snake!!!

 It must be sooo nice! Very nice snake, I am sitting here, checking all the post every day, wishing it were June already! But I am glad you have yours now! Have fun, and think of me. Take Care. Monna~~wishing it were June!

Thanks everybody!

Yep! This is the Milksnake Phase x Motley I got from Rich in Raleigh. She has a more orange background than others labled the same which makes her look more "normal" but she has some interesting joined blotches with some alternating down near the tail that look zig-zaggy.

She was so bold when I put her in the new cage I decided to give her a pinkie snack last night. She gobbled it up- very good eater!

Very very nice!!!!

I have 3 milks from Rich too, but then I would think that yours looks better than mine!!!
Very pretty!

Good luck and Happy Herping!

Here's one of my Milksnake phase-Motley-Okeetee snakes

I didn't use the flash because it always washes out the true color. This is real close to what it's colors really look like.

Beautiful Snake, Great Picture!

With all these beautiful snakes, I will have to be careful, I will want more than the one snake I have decided to keep! They are all beautiful, and I might have a problem just having one! But till I get the keeping of one down pat, I will definatly wait before deciding to get another. But it sure will be hard!!!!!! :)

P.S. I just had a thought! The room my girsl are in, when they move out, (they are 16 &17) instead of putting in a sewing room, maybe I can have a snake room! will have to give this some more thought! I also love to sew too. ;)

monna

Suggestion for your snake/sewing room: set up a shelf system on one wall for the snake cages and another shelf and cabinet setup for the sewing on another wall. Set up your table so that when you're working you can glance up at the snakes and see what they're up to. The most practical way for the snake setup would be to use lightweight cages, accessible from the front that are stackable or go on a rack (not cheap, but your snakes will live with you 20 or so years so the initial investment will be worth it for the long term enjoyment of you and your snake friends).

Great Idea Liz!

I think I will give this a lot of thought! I like this idea, and the room is big enough for both! Love this idea! :D

sew cute

You could sew little snake clothes then, or curtains for their cages :) I took up knitting htis summer and my fiance told me to knit somthing for my corns,... i'm thinking scarves (cuz it's easy and oh so versital)

 of course they'd never wear it,...

Great idea

But if I put curtains, I would not see them when they decide to grace me with their presence! As to clothes at least you would not have to fight to make sleeves fit! :)

Monna, I had another idea for you. On the wall where you'll set up your snake cages, if you use those front-opening cages, you could get more cages than you need (because you're going to end up with more snakes than you plan :) ) and use the empty cages to store colorful cloth and skeins of yarn. Set up the system so that you have an overall patchwork of snake cages and cloth cages. Later when you get more snakes, you can then set up regular shelving on the other wall for the cloth and supplies.
