? on "Arctic Mice" sizes..

Droptines

I picked up some mice for my snake.I have been using Arctic Mice since I got her last Sept..She has graduated to their largest size, which is a 4 pack at 76 grams.
Now is that a total weight or a weight per mouse ?..I believe its the total weight. On Roy M.'s feeding chart shows large mice at 50+ grams :eek1:
Now the mouse I feed tonight,,according to the container weighted about 19 grams,,?? it seemed pretty good size.
I couldn't even fathom a mouse in the 50gram range,,,THAT WOULD BE HUGE.
Am I right or wrong ??,either way I'll be sticking with this size for a while,,they leave a good size lump. She defecates around every 4th or 5th,then sometimes again on the 6 or 7th day.
What do you guys think,,,Roy :shrugs:

Ex breeder mice at petstores are very big....

How much are artic mice where you live? Ours are 10.00 and I find they often have freezer burn. :puke02:

They're also exceedingly small. I adopted a snake that came with "small adults" and they were the size of the hoppers I fed our guys.

I'm just compairing to mice I have seen in pet shops,,and even wild deer mice and voles.
I think I pay 11 something for a 4 pack.As far "freezer burnt",,I have never noticed.
I think I will eventually be buying my mice from local snake guy,,who is also a rodent distributor.I think buying a live mouse,,THWACK,,diner served,is the freshest way..
