Peeling scales, late shed

So my corn snake has been shedding every 3 weeks consistently, but he had an awful shed on the 2nd of February and I got off all remaining shed as far as I could tell. The only thing wrong was a small spot on his head that had scabbed over and is healing fine now. I haven't seen him go milky at all these past weeks and have noticed small bits of clear scales peeling off where the body meets his belly. This doesn't look like he has scale rot, and doesn't seem to be hurt by him in any way. A warm bath and cloth has done no help and no harm. Any idea what might be wrong and how I could fix this?
