Pick Ups- Wasatch Reptile Expo

ssssinful-1

Held Hostage By Corns
Unfortunately, the one reptile expo in Utah we have each year has come and gone. I get so excited for our expo- much like a child anticipating a trip to Disneyland.

Shortly after getting there, I bought my first invert. A G. Rosea- I don't want anything aggressive and this fit the bill.

I made my rounds and visited the vendor tables. Nothing was screaming to come home with me. I was tempted to purchase a Hoggie, but held off. Even went to the table 3 times to look at him.

Later, I was talking to a old acquaintance. As we were talking, I kept noticing some boas out of the corner of my eye. We wrapped things up and I looked more closely at these Central American Boas. There was one in particular that I had to see. The kind lady handed me the one I was eyeballing. This CAB had an amazing reddish/pinkish belly. Looking at him more closely, he had a crazy peach coloring throughout his body. The breeder stated that these were 50% possible het for T+. Really, this guy was gorgeous (IMO) and had a great temperament so he came home with me too.

This should be it for the year. Well, I have decided I want a Greenbottle Blue T.
